San Dieguito Union High School District

In a unanimous 4-0 vote at the May 19, 2022, Regular Board Meeting, the Board approved the final Guaranteed Maximum Price with Barnhart Reese Construction, Inc., for the district office modernization project. The budgeted money for this project will come out of the Fund 40-00 which is a fund specific to facilities and construction projects. 

 

The project has necessitated the closure of the District Office at 710 Encinitas Blvd as it helps bring the building into ADA compliance while also providing greater functionality and more efficient working spaces for district employees. The District Office will be closed for construction beginning July 12, 2022. The current timeline calls for a staggered exit of various departments out of the district office with construction scheduled to begin in August 2022 and end in October 2023.
